PSNI Issue Warning To Freshers Over One Punch Deaths
The PSNI have issued a warning to Freshers as they celebrate their first week at university over one punch deaths.
25 people have died as a result of one punch attacks and many more have been seriously injured since 2004, according to the police.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The majority of these incidents are alcohol fuelled and can have a devastating impact on the victim and their family.
"During this freshers period we hope you enjoy your night but please remember that One Punch Can Kill."

The issue has been brought into focus by data which show that approximately one in five people in Northern Ireland have a potential mental health problem.

The police have this week highlighted the risks of getting involved in an argument or fight that could lead to serious injury or death. The PSNI launched a new poster campaign to raise awareness of the issue earlier this week.
