Shots Fired At House In L'Derry
The PSNI have described a gun attack at a house in Co L'Derry as "sheer recklessness and a disregard for human life".
Shots were fired at a property in the Clon Eagh area at around 10.20pm on Tuesday, 03 October.
No-one was in the property at the time of the incident.
Detective Constable Richard Donnell said: "While fortunately no one was in the premises at the time of this incident those responsible displayed a sheer recklessness and disregard for human life that most of us cannot fathom.
"I would urge anyone with any information about this incident to contact Detectives at Criminal Investigation Branch, Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1384 03/10/17."
SDLP Councillor Brian Tierney said: "This is yet another callous criminal act on the streets of our city.
"Those behind this attack have displayed a reckless disregard for the lives and safety of people living in this area. They have nothing to offer people in Derry.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious on the area last night to come forward to police as soon as possible."
