Pensioner Robbed In Lisburn

A pensioner has been left shaken after she was pulled from her vehicle in Lisburn.

The woman, aged in her 80s, was parking her car in the driveway on the Hillsborough Old Road area at around 5.15pm on Saturday, 07 October, when a man approached her and pulled her from the vehicle.

He stole a holdall which contained cash and jewellery and made off.

The woman was not physically hurt but was left shaken.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police are appealing for information to help trace missing woman Eileen McConville. She was last seen in the Craigavon Hospital area at around 3.15pm on Thursday, 01 February. She is described as being around 5ft 2inches tall and a petite build with long dark brown hair and green eyes.

Driver Of Stolen Car Caught With Open Bottle Of Wine
The driver of a stolen car has been arrested after police caught him with a bottle of wine in his hand. Members of the public reported that the car was being driven dangerously in Ballymena. Officers from the Armed Response Unit (ARU) stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver and passenger.

Detectives in Belfast are appealing for information following an incident where a woman was dragged from her vehicle yesterday evening. The 23-year-old woman had stopped in her black Renault Clio at 7pm at the junction of Hardcastle Street and Bankmore Street and was approached by two males.

A pensioner has been left badly shaken following a robbery in Co Armagh. The incident occurred at a house in the Tirmacrannon Road area of Loughgall on Tuesday evening. The victim, aged in his 80s, was pushed against a kitchen counter by the intruder who also stole his wallet.

An elderly woman has been left badly shaken after burglars broke into her flat in Newtownabbey. The incident occurred in Glenvarna Walk in the early hours of Wednesday morning. An elderly Londonderry woman has been left shaken after thugs demanded £200 for unwanted gardening work, then assaulted her son. The 89-year-old, who does not wish to be identified, described how three seemingly "very nice" men carried out work in her garden without permission, last Friday, then asked for almost £200 payment.
