Two Men Released Over Threats To Catholic Families
Two men have been released from police custody after they were arrested under the Terroism Act.
The men, aged 37 and 40, were detained on suspicion of being members of a banned organisation, namely the UVF.
The arrests were made after four Catholic families were forced to leave their homes in the Cantrell Close area in east Belfast after receiving threats.
The PSNI said the pair had been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of George Gilmore have been released unconditionally. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. The two suspects were detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 29 March.

Six men arrested in connection with paramilitary style shootings in west Belfast have been released unconditionally. The men, aged between 29 and 50, were detained by police on Monday, 28 November, following a number of searches. They were released unconditionally on Tuesday, 30 November.

Two Arrested In Connection With West Belfast Stabbing
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a serious stabbing incident in west Belfast in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, 10 April. Just after 2.45am, police received a report from our colleagues in northern Ireland Ambulance Service that a man had been stabbed in the St Bernadette's Avenue area.
