Teen Charged With Blackmail And Threats To Kill

A teenager has been charged with blackmail, making threats to kill and making threats to damage property.

The 19-year-old male was arrested in east Belfast on Tuesday, 10 October.

He was detained by the Paramilitary Crime Task Force as part of an investigation into serious crime.

He is to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 11 October.

Man Charged With Making Threats To Kill
A 30-year-old man has been charged with making threats to kill. He has also been charged with disorderly behaviour. He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court today. The charges relate to an incident which occurred at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast over the weekend, following the fatal shooting of Edward Gibson.

Home Safety And Crime Prevention Event At Belfast City Hall
A free home safety and crime prevention advice event is to be held at Belfast City Hall on Friday, 01 March. The Belfast Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) has organised the event, which is free and will take place from 10am-1pm in Belfast City Hall. Complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments will also be provided.
