Met Office Issues Yellow Warning For Wind

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind in Northern Ireland.

The warning has been put in place on Monday, 16 October, and Tuesday, 17 October.

Gusts of up to 60mph are expected some areas and heavy rain is also expected which may cause delays on the roads.

Driver are being urged to take care.

The PSNI Chief Constable has said that he is committed to working with the family of Sean Browne and others impacted by the disclosure limitations of the coronial process. DAERA Minister To Prioritise Animal Welfare Issues
New Department for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) Minister, Andrew Muir, has said that animal welfare issues will be among his top priorities. The Minister was speaking during a visit to the offices of the USPCA in Newry where he met with staff and volunteers during which a range of animal health issues were discussed.
