New Young Innovators Programme Launched

Innovate UK and the Prince's Trust have announced an new programme for young innovators interested in taking their ideas "to the next level".

The Young Innovators programme is open to 18-30 year old entrepreneurs, and offers support including:

• 12 regional innovation live events across the UK in early January 2018

• an award competition opening in February 2018

• an award package being presented in March 2018

The award package includes:

• an allowance to cover living costs (similar to an apprenticeship)

• one to one coaching and mentoring from an Innovation Champion

• a pot of funding to support specific requirements, eg travel to meet customers/partners, attending relevant training courses, equipment, hiring office space and IT support

Those who do not win an award package will still have access to the innovation module and support offered by Enterprise Online.

The Belfast event will take place at sParks Hatchery on 18th January, 2018 and is free to attend.
