Bulgarian Man Arrested In NI Over Murder In Native Country
A man from Bulgaria has been arrested in connection with a murder in his native country.
The PSNI detained the suspect in Co Antrim on Sunday, 17 December, after a European Arrest Warrant was issued in Bulgaria.
The 41-year-old appeared before Belfast Recorders Court on Monday, 18 December, and has been remanded in custody.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.

A second man has been extradited from Poland to Northern Ireland this week to face charges related to the cultivation of cannabis. The 40 year-old-man was extradited from Poland on Thursday 11th April, to stand trial in relation to a number of offences of cultivation of cannabis.
