Further Searches Being Carried Out In Fermanagh

More searches are being carried out in Fermanagh after reports of a suspect device in the area last week.

The Kilcoo Road and the Cashel Road are currently closed while police carry out their investigations.

Chief Inspector Roy Robinson said: "The safety of the community is of paramount importance and we are appealing to anyone who notices any suspicious objects not to touch them but to contact police immediately by calling 999.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Dies In Co Fermanagh Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Belfast Road in Enniskillen just before 1pm on Tuesday, 06 February. Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have noticed a vehicle off the road to contact them.

Teenager Arrested After Two Police Officers Injured In Belfast
A 16-year-old girl has been arrested after two police officers were injured as trouble flared in Belfast overnight. Petrol bombs and masonry were thrown at the officers in the Woodvale Road area at around 12.50am on Wednesday. No petrol bombs made contact, however two police officers were injured after bottles were thrown at them.
