Appeal Issued For Missing Man Aaron English

Police are appealing for information to help trace a man from Newtownards in Co Down who was last seen in Belgium.

Aaron English, aged 29, was last spoken to at the Belgian Embassy in Brussels on Tuesday, 09 January.

He was in some difficulties in relation to accommodation and was trying to get back home. He found shelter for the night and his family pre-paid for him to get back to Northern Ireland.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Unfortunately that was the last contact made and despite being alerted as a missing person through Interpol and our International Liaison there has been nothing further and he has not travelled home.

"Aaron is in no trouble whatsoever and his family back home in Ards simply need him to get in touch and let them know he is safe and well."

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Tragic RIR Soldier Honoured In Commons
The Remembrance Sunday blast death of a Co Londonderry soldier - which took the toll of UK service personnel killed in Afghanistan since 2001 to 344 - has been recalled. The Prime Minister, David Cameron, paid tribute to the Royal Irish Regiment's Ranger Aaron McCormick today and said he was "tough, selfless, good humoured and full of compassion".

Police have launched an appeal for information to help trace a missing man. Lukasz Karpinski was last seen at Dunbar Link in Belfast at around 9am on Wednesday, 11 October. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Lukasz, who wears glasses, is described as being approximately 6'3" tall, very slim build with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are appealing for information to help trace missing man Dwayne McKnight. Mr McKnight, 26, went missing from the Banbridge area in Co Down on Tuesday, 26 September. He has dark hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a red coloured t-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Police have launched an appeal to help trace a missing Antrim man. Timothy Ferguson was last seen on 14 September and the PSNI are concerned for his welfare. A police spokesperson said: "Police are concerned regarding the welfare of Antrim resident Timothy Ferguson. Timothy has not been seen since the 14th September 2017.

Police have issued an appeal for information to help trace a missing 22-year-old man. Matthew Morrison was last seen in the Fairview area near Mossley, Newtownabbey, at around midnight. He is described as being around 5ft 9inches tall, of medium build with dark brown hair.

An appeal for information by the families of the Disappeared, 17 people murdered and secretly buried by republican paramilitaries, has been backed by Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt. To date, searches have uncovered the bodies of 10 of the victims, with the whereabouts of the seven others still unknown.

Police have issued an appeal for information to help trace a missing 14-year-old girl. Anna Newman is around 5ft 6inches tall and may have been wearing a dark green uniform. She has ties with Bangor, Dundonald, east Belfast and Lisburn areas. Police in Bangor are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
