Man Charged Over Arson Attack In Belfast
A 36-year-old man has been charged in connection with an arson attack at a shop in Belfast.
The incident happened at premises in the Donegall Street area on Friday, 23 February.
No-one was injured, however some people in the shop were left badly shaken.
The suspect has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and is due in court on Tuesday, 06 March.
He has also been charged with possession of a Class A drug.

The Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) has criticised PNSI Chief Constable, Jon Boutcher, for his failure to invite their party leader, Doug Beattie, to the PSNI Graduation Ceremony. The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.

A free home safety and crime prevention advice event is to be held at Belfast City Hall on Friday, 01 March. The Belfast Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) has organised the event, which is free and will take place from 10am-1pm in Belfast City Hall. Complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments will also be provided.
