Orange Hall Attacked In Dungannon

Police have launched an investigation after an Orange Hall was attacked in Dungannon.

Paint was thrown at the Orange Hall sometime between 6pm on Saturday, 10 March, and 11am on Sunday, 11 March.

Paint damage was caused to the front of the building and the steps and entrance were also damaged.

DUP Leader Arlene Foster said: "This is a disgraceful attack on a community facility. It is a crime motivated by sectarianism and unfortunately is one of many such attacks sustained against Orange Halls right across Northern Ireland."

Police are treating the attack as a "hate crime" and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Orange Hall paint bombed in Co Armagh
Police have appealed for information after an Orange Hall was attacked with paint bombs in Co Armagh. It is understood the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Milford but was not reported to police until late on Thursday. The front of the hall, which is on Hill Street, was damaged with brown paint in the attack.

Flag Stolen From Orange Hall
A flag has been stolen from an Orange Hall near Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The Orange Institution has condemned the theft and said it was a "hate crime". The flag was torn down from the roof of Ballinrees Orange hall and the pole on which it was erected was also removed.

Belfast Orange Hall Attacked
An Orange Hall in Belfast has been targeted in another sectarian attack. A number of paint bombs were thrown at Clifton Street Orange Hall, near Carlisle Circus in the north of the city, during the early hours of Tuesday morning. It is the second time the hall has been attacked in as many weeks and the sixth time since July last year.

Orange Hall War Memorial Attacked
Police are appealing for information following an attack on an Orange hall in Coleraine, County L'Derry. A war memorial stone was damaged and wreaths were ripped up in the overnight attack at the memorial garden in Killowen Orange Hall, Shuttle Hill. The damage was discovered at 07:00 on Saturday morning.

Orange Hall Attacked - Again
The latest in an ongoing series of attacks on a north Belfast Orange Hall has seen terrified women being escorted away from the scene by the police. The women, female members of the lodge from Greencastle Orange Hall in the Whitewell area, had to be led away after the building was stoned.

Police Attacked After Petrol Bomb Thrown At Orange Hall
The police have been attacked after a petrol bomb and paint were thrown at an Orange Hall in north Belfast. The incident happened at the Clifton Street Orange Hall at around 10pm on Sunday. It is being treated as a sectarian hate crime, according to the police.

Orange Hall Fire Being Treated As Arson
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service are treating a fire at an Orange hall at Portadown in County Armagh as arson. The blaze at Seagoe Orange Hall was reported at about 2.30am on Thursday morning and it is understood a brick was thrown through a window before the fire was started.

Fifth Attack On Orange Hall
An Orange Hall has been subjected to a sectarian attack. A number of paint bombs were thrown at Clifton Street Orange Hall, near Carlisle Circus in the north of the city, at around 7pm on Tuesday. It is the fifth time the hall has been attacked since July of last year.

Kilrea Orange Hall Hit - Again
Just a few weeks since the last such incident, an Orange hall in Co Londonderry has been attacked yet again. The latest of three such attacks inside six months, this time a gas cylinder was thrown through the window of a flat at the back of the hall at New Road in Kilrea at about 4.30am on Thursday.

Belfast Orange Hall Again Paint Bombed
As the 'marching season' reaches its height with next week's 'Twelfth' celebrations looming, tensions have again been rising with the Orange Order reporting that one of its main halls in Belfast has been repeatedly attacked. The Order said bottles containing paint were last night thrown at the hall in Clifton Street for the third time this week.

Two Orange Halls Attacked
Two Orange Halls have been attacked over the weekend. A number of paint bombs were thrown at Rosedernott Orange hall, outside Cloughmills, during the early hours of Sunday, 23 July. A Union flag was also removed, and a flag pole damaged, from inside the grounds of Roden Orange hall in Kilkeel.

Union Flag Stolen From Ardinariff Orange Hall
A Union flag has been stolen from an Orange Hall near Dungiven, Co L'Derry. The flag was pulled from the roof of Ardinariff Orange Hall and the flag pole was also destroyed. A spokesman for Limavady District LOL No 6 condemned the flag theft as a "hate crime". He said: "The Orange community in Dungiven is disgusted at this deeply offensive act.

A security alert is taking place after an explosion at an Orange Hall in County Armagh. A device exploded at the front door of Carnagh Orange Hall outside Keady on Friday night. DUP Newry & Armagh MLA William Irwin said: "This was an inflammatory, sectarian and cowardly attack on a community facility simply because it belongs to Protestants.

'IRA' Graffiti Daubed On Orange Hall
Republican graffiti has been daubed on an Orange Hall in County Antrim during an overnight attack. The Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland has condemned the graffiti, which was daubed on the exterior of Fourscore Orange Hall outside Glenavy. The graffiti included 'IRA' slogans and 'Orange scum'.
