Pedestrian Seriously Injured In L'Derry Collision

A man in his 80s has been seriously injured in a road collision in Co L'Derry.

He was hit by a grey-coloured Peugeot people carrier vehicle in the Bishops Street area on Saturday, 17 March.

The elderly man sustained serious injuries and is being treated in hospital.

A 53-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police are seriously concerned for the welfare of missing man David Duprey. Mr Duprey, 61, was last seen in Craigavon Area Hospital in Co Armagh at 9am on Wednesday. Police are urging the public to contact them if they have seen Mr Duprey as he needs "urgent medical treatment".

Boy Critical Following Crash In Enniskillen
An 11-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital following a collision between a car and a van in Enniskillen. Two men were also seriously injured in the incident which happened on the Lough Shore Road on Wednesday afternoon. The driver of the car, 23, and the 47-year-old van driver are being treated in hospital.

Two Charged After Man Seriously Attacked In L'Derry
A man and a teenager are to appear in court today, 18 December, after a 16-year-old boy was seriously attacked in Co L'Derry. The victim is in intensive care and is being treated for facial and head injuries. A second man sustained a broken nose. The suspects, aged 23 and 17, have been charged with occasioning actual bodily harm.

Man Attacked In Co L'Derry
A man, aged in his 40s, has been seriously injured following an attack in Co L'Derry. The assault happened on the Garvagh Road in Dungiven in the early hours of Sunday, 12 November. The man sustained severe head injuries and is being treated in hospital. A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm.
