Workshops Explore Selling Through Social Media

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has announced that it will be hosting workshops for retailers who want to start selling online through social media.

These workshops are ideal for retailers who are already selling but want to find out about selling through social media.

The events will cover:

• online retail trends in the UK

• how to establish a web presence for your retail business

• how to start selling through social media

• tools and tips to help you get started

The workshops are ideal for retail business owners, SMEs, retail marketing managers, sales managers and brand managers.

You can register for the date and time that suits you:

Wednesday 18 April – 17:30 - 20:30

Thursday 26 April – 09:30 - 12:30

Both events will take place at The Old Courthouse, Market Square, Antrim, BT41 4AW.

Economy Faltering As Growth Slows
The Northern Ireland economy is expected to grow at a slower rate than previously thought. The Northern Bank's latest quarterly report said the economy is now expected to grow only by 1% by the end of the year - a downward revision of 0.3% from its report in March.
