Two Teens Arrested Following Death Of Piotr Krowka

Two teenagers have been arrested following the death of a homeless man in Co L'Derry.

Piotr Krowka's body was found in Maghera on Friday, 13 April.

He had been sleeping at a derelict property known as Parachial House.

A PSNI spokesperson said two teenagers were arrested on Tuesday, 17 April, and have been taken to Antrim police station to be questioned.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to contact them.

Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing woman from north Belfast. Helen Parker was last seen in the Crumlin Road area walking towards the city centre on Wednesday at around 8.15am. She is believed to have been wearing blue skinny jeans, a navy hoodie and a black jacket with white trainers.

Investigation Launched After Shots Fired At Car In L'Derry
Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a car in Co L'Derry. The attack happened in the Marianus Park area just after 10.20pm on Sunday, 25 March. A number of bullet holes were discovered in the bonnet of the vehicle which was unoccupied and parked in the area. No-one was injured in the attack.

PSNI Team Set Up To Investigate Fr Finegan Abuse Allegations
The PSNI are investigating allegations of child abuse by Fr Malachy Finegan. The priest, who died in 2002, has been accused of a number of sexual and physical abuse against young boys. A dedicated team has been established within the Public Prosecution Branch of the PSNI.

Police renew murder appeal
Police have renewed their appeal into the murder of a man in Co Down last month. Andrew Cully, a father of two teenage boys from Greyabbey, was shot up to 10 times as he sat in his parked car in the loyalist West Winds estate in Newtownards on 24 March. Detectives want to speak to anyone who saw Mr Cully sitting in his car prior to the shooting.

Pensioners Flee Bangor Arson Attack
Police in North Down are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at a community hall in the Skipperstone Road area of Bangor on Thursday. At around 9.00pm, petrol was poured over the door of the centre and set alight. A number of pensioners were in the community centre at the time.

Two teenagers have been arrested following an attack on firefighters attending a call out in the Crumlin Road area of north Belfast on Tuesday. The incident occurred as fire crews were called to Florence Court at around 10.30pm.

A 24-year-old man has appeared in court accused of drunkenly antagonising nationalist residents during the Ulster Covenant centenary parade in Belfast. Police on duty at the parade in the city arrested James Symington, of no fixed address, on 29 September.

Five to appear in court in connecton with Bangor robbery
Five youths are to appear in Downpatrick Magistrates Court today charged in connection with the robbery of an off-licence in Bangor on Tuesday night. Two youths, who entered the premises on the Rathgael Road, assaulted two female members of staff before making off with a sum of money and alcohol.

Teenagers Arrested After Attack On Police
Three teenage boys have been arrested after police in L'Derry were attacked with petrol bombs and other missiles on Monday night. The attack began when a large group of young people assembled in the Circular Road and Creggan Heights area and began throwing stones and bottles at police.

Two teenage girls have been arrested following what is believed to be a pre-arranged fight on social media in Belfast city centre. Around 200 youths gathered in Castle Street and Millfield at around 5pm on Sunday.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Three Teenagers Arrested Over Co Antrim Murder
Police investigating the murder of Nelson Cheung in Co Antrim earlier this month have arrested a three teenage girls. Mr Cheung, 65, died after he was stabbed in an attack on the Caddy Road on 8 January. It is understood Mr Cheung and his wife were attacked after their car was forced off the road.

Teenagers Arrested After Car Set Alight, L'Derry
Two teenage boys have been arrested after police responded to a large group of young people congregating in the Shantallow area of L'Derry where a car had been set alight. Officers were responding to a report of a group of about fifty young people on the Racecourse Road at Greehaw Crescent on Saturday night.

Teenagers Arrested Over Omagh Kidnapping
Two teenagers have been arrested over the Omagh kidnapping which occurred at the beginning of October. A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man have been arrested, according to the PSNI. The case has already seen three men aged 22, 39 and 55 charged and a 38-year-old woman released unconditionally.
