Kate Middleton Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, has given birth to a baby boy.

The Duchess was admitted to Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital early on Monday morning.

Posting to Twitter, Kensington Palace, said that the latest additional to the Royal Family "was safely delivered at 1101hrs".

They continued: "The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."

15-Year-Old Arrested Following Stabbing In Lisburn
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 14-year-old in the Knockmore Road area of Lisburn last night, Monday 25th March. Police have said that at approximately 7.40pm on Monday 25 March, a 14-year-old boy had been approached by a group of teenagers, before being stabbed in the lower back.

Research to examine dental health and premature births
An investigation into a possible link between gum disease in pregnant women and their chances of having a premature or low birthweight baby is to be carried out by dental researchers at Queen's University.
