Churches Vandalised With Anti-Abortion Graffiti
Police have issued an appeal for information following a number of graffiti attacks on churches, which have been daubed with anti-abortion slogans.
In the latest attack, St Colmcille's Church in Carrickmore, Co Tyrone had a number of slogans painted on it, including "only DUP speaks for Irish unborn", referencing their anti-abortion stance.
It follows a similar attack on St Patrick's Cathedral in Armagh, which had "Save the 8th save Ireland" and "Sin (sic) Fein Irish baby killers speak up" painted on it's walls in pink paint.
The incident in Armagh is believed to have taken place between 11pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday 23 April, while the incident in Carrickmore is believed to have taken place sometime between 9:40pm on Monday and 08:05am on Tuesday 24 April.
Anyone with any information about either incident in asked to contact police.

Órfhlaith Begley said: "First and foremost this is a sectarian hate crime and those responsible should be brought to book.
"This disgraceful graffiti attack on Carrickmore Chapel is the second such attack on a church property in 24 hours.
"I have visited Carrickmore Chapel this morning, I have spoken to Father O’Neill and parishioners and people are incensed by this blatant sectarian vandalism.
"Anyone with any information on this hate crime should bring it forward to the PSNI."

'Significant Quantity' Of Tablets Discovered On Co Down Beach
The PSNI have issued a warning following the discovery of a "significant quantity" of tablets of County Down's Cloughey beach on the afternoon of Wednesday, 03 April. Officers responded to reports that large quantity of tablets in plastic blister packs had been found on the beach.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a two-vehicle collision in Ballygawley. On Sunday, 21 April, a blue BMW M4 and a black Kia Sportage were involved in a collision in the Old Omagh Road area just before 4pm.

PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in Banbridge on Friday, 12 April. Shortly after 8pm, it was reported that a man aged in his 40s had been shot in his abdomen while in the car park on Rathfriland Road. Taken to hospital, his condition has been described as serious.
