Courier attacked with iron bar
Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked outside a bank in north Belfast early this morning.
The victim, a courier and in his 40s, was delivering mail to the bank on York Street when he was approached from behind by four men.
The men, who are believed to be in their 20s, then attacked their victim, hitting him over the back of the head with an iron bar.
The assailants then made off up a nearby alleyway with the man's delivery package.
The victim is currently being treated in hospital for his injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.

Arrests Made At Traffic Collision Following L'Derry Burglary
Police responding to a road traffic collision in L'Derry last night, Wednesday 20 March, arrested two men in connection with an earlier burglary in the area. At 23:55 last night, police received a report of a collision on Gortinure Road involving a black Audi TT. The vehicle was found abandoned in a ditch.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in L'Derry last night, Monday 22 January. Shortly before midnight, police received a report that a man was found injured in the area of John Street roundabout. Investigation Launches After Masked Men Break Into House In East Belfast
The PSNI have launched an investigation after masked men broke into a house in east Belfast while a woman was inside. The incident occurred in the Manna Grove area at around 7pm on Wednesday, 17 January. Three masked men entered the property through a smashed back door and searched the house while the woman was upstairs.
