Man assaulted in Co Antrim
Police in Co Antrim are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a young man in Ballycastle in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The victim was walking along the Moyle Road at around 1.30am when he was attacked by a teenager who lunged at him.
A scuffle ensued before the victim was able to get away with just a minor scratch on his abdomen.
The assailant is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of stocky build, around 16-18 years old, and was wearing a white hooded top and dark coloured baseball cap and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone who witnessed the attack or who has any information is asked to contact police at Ballycastle on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

Police Investigating Man's Death Following Ballynahinch Collision
The PSNI have launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of an elderly man following a collision in Ballynahinch. It it understood that police were called at approximately 4.10pm on Monday 08 April, to reports of the "sudden death"of an elderly man at a quarry in the Newcastle Road area of Seaforde.

Appeal For Information On Serious Assault In Rostrevor
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Rostrevor on Sunday, 31 March. At around 9pm, police received a report that man, aged in his 20s, had received serious head injuries after he fell to the ground following an altercation at a licensed premises in the Bridge Street area.
