Officers attacked as they help resuscitate woman
Police have been attacked in west Belfast after helping resuscitate a woman who had collapsed in her home.
The 50-year-old woman was found lying unconscious in her kitchen in the Glenalina area after being alerted by ambulance crews at about 8.30pm on Sunday.
As officers returned from the scene of the incident a group of up to 40 youths threw bottles and bricks.
A police Land Rover was damaged and one woman was treated by ambulance staff following the attacks.
Elsewhere, police are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a woman in Co Down.
The incident is believed to have taken place in a field behind a memorial hall near the Belfast Road in Newry between 2am and 2.30am on Sunday.
Police have appealed for a number of people seen in the area at the time to contact them and would particularly like to hear from one man in his 20s.

Appeal Following Serious Assault And Robbery In Antrim
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.
