Teenage girl raped in 'horrendous' attack
Police are appealing for information after a 15-year-old girl was raped twice in an "absolutely horrendous" attack in west Belfast at the weekend.
The girl, who is on holiday from England, was walking along Blacks Road in the early hours of Saturday with three teenage boys when they were confronted by two young men armed with a metal bar and a screwdriver.
She was attacked by one of the assailants who dragged her to a filling station and raped her before forcing the teenagers into a golf centre, where the same man raped the girl again.
Detectives have urged the rapist and his accomplice, thought to be in their late teens, to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: "Anybody out there who knows anything, political party activists, community workers, anybody who has any influence at all on the community, I am asking specifically, please help us on this one because we need to bring these two people to justice for this."
A man arrested in connection with the attack has since been released.
