Three arrested in connection with 'creeper' burglaries
Following a series of proactive police operations, three men have been arrested in connection with a number of "creeper" style burglaries in Belfast.
The men are currently being held for questioning in relation to the robberies, three of which took place in Castlereagh, another in east Belfast and an attempted robbery in the south of the city in the early hours of Thursday February 15.
Police said that two vehicles and a number of other items have been recovered and detectives said their inquiries are ongoing.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Three Arrested In Connection With Ballymena Murder
Police are treating the death of a 69-year-old man from Ballymena as murder. The victim was discovered in the Drumtara area on Tuesday afternoon. Two men, aged 41 and 49, and a woman, 47, have been arrested and are in police custody. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

IRA suspects moved from prison
Prison officials in Colombia have said that three Irishmen being held in the main prison in the capital Bogotá have been moved for their own safety. Lawyers for the three men say they have been moved to another jail run by the local police, because of threats against their lives by right-wing paramilitary suspects also held in La Modelo prison.

Three men have been arrested in connection with an armed hijacking and subsequent collision in the Newtownards area on Thursday, 18 May. At around 8.30pm last night, police received a report that a vehicle had been hijacked in the East Street area of Newtownards.

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a woman was attacked with a metal bar in the early hours of Sunday 19 August in Ballycastle, Co Antrim. A 27-year-old was attacked at about 1.45am on Fairhill Street. A 29-year-old man has been detained in connection with the incident. Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.
