Body of missing County Antrim man found in Republic

The body of a County Antrim man who has been missing for over two years has been found in the Irish Republic.

Trevor McFall, 46, from Larne was last seen in his home town in March 2004.

Police have revealed that Mr McFall's body was discovered in the Dingle area of County Kerry on April 15, but has just been formally identified.

Gardai have confirmed that the circumstances surrounding the death are not thought to be suspicious and his body has been returned to his family in Northern Ireland.

A 63-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Antrim on Friday, 26 January. Shortly after 5.10am police received a report that a man, aged in his 40s, had been stabbed at a property in the Firmount Drive area of the town.
