Woman threatened in Co. Down burglary
A woman has been threatened by burglars during a robbery at her home in Co. Down, police have said.
The 56-year-old woman was alone in her home in Boyd Avenue, Kircubbin, when three men in their 20s entered the house around 10:30pm on Monday night.
One of the men was armed with a baseball bar and threatened the woman.
Police said that she was left shaken by the incident, but was not physically injured.
Nothing was taken from the house and the men fled the scene in a white van.
Police in Newtownards have appealed for information.

A former police station in Belfast city centre is to be redeveloped for a new 74-bedroom hotel. Belfast City Council's Planning Committee approved the development on Queen Street, along with granting Listed Building Consent to bring the building into use again.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Six Arrested In Dissident Investigation
Six people have been arrested by detectives investigating dissident republican activity. The arrests were made on Tuesday in the Dunmurry and west Belfast area following a number of searches. Police said five men, aged between 31 and 58, and a 32-year-old woman had been arrested.

Man Arrested For Headbutting Female Police Officer
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in Newry for assaulting a police officer. While responding to a domestic related report, a local female officer was headbutted to the head, which caused swelling and bruising. The officer was seen by medical staff and her injuries were not more serious and she felt well enough to remain on duty.
