Body found in County Antrim

Police have confirmed that the body recovered from the river Lagan in Lisburn earlier today was that of a 60-year-old local man.

However, the identity of the man has not yet been released.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out tomorrow to establish the cause of death.

There are no further details at present.

Man's body found in Belfast
A man's body has been found in south Belfast. It was discovered in the Botanic Avenue area of the city early this morning. A post mortem examination is expected to be carried out later today. The man is thought to have been homeless. There is no more information at present.
