Suspected cannabis factory uncovered in east Belfast

Police in east Belfast have uncovered a suspected cannabis factory following the search of a property in the area yesterday afternoon.

During the raid at the house in the Albertbridge Road area of the city, police recovered 35 mature cannabis plants, and other paraphernalia.

A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene for the cultivation of cannabis with intent to supply.

Suspected Cannabis Factory Uncovered In Craigavon
Two men have been arrested following the discovery of a suspected cannabis factory at a property in Craigavon on Tuesday 10th January. Shortly after 5.15pm, officers received and responded to a report of suspicious activity at a house in the Carrigart Crescent area.

Man Charged Following Drugs Find
A man has been charged after police seized drugs, worth a street value of between £50,000-£75,000, in Co L'Derry. Cannabis plants and herbal cannabis were discovered during search in the High Street area in Draperstown on Wednesday. A 35-year-old man has been charged with possession and cultivation of class B drugs with intent to supply.
