Pensioner injured in County Antrim collision

Police in County Antrim have appealed for information following a road traffic collision yesterday evening.

The incident happened just before 6pm on the Old Glenarm Road area of Larne, when a blue coloured car struck an elderly man.

The man, who was aged in his mid to late 70s, was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast with serious injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said that it was not a hit and run incident, however added that police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man Dies In Co Fermanagh Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Fermanagh. The one-vehicle collision happened on the Tattymacall Road in Lisbellaw at approximately 5.10pm on Monday, 05 September. The road has been re-opened. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Belfast Man Handed Two-Year Stalking Protection Order
The PSNI have welcomed a two-year Stalking Protection Order (SPO) handed down to a 46-year-old Belfast man at Belfast Magistrates Court. The man had been found guilty of stalking and harassing his 50-year-old female ex-partner.
