Woman sexually assaulted in Londonderry

A woman has been sexually assaulted in an alleyway in Londonderry, according to police.

The incident took place at around 1.00am this morning between Great James Street and Sackville Street.

It is understood a man forced the woman to the ground after grabbing her from behind, before sexually assaulting her.

The assailant is described as being tall with dark hair, and he was wearing jeans.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information, to contact them.

Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Woman Seriously Sexually Assaulted In Belfast
A woman has reportedly been seriously sexually assaulted in Belfast. The attack happened in the Sydenham bypass area between 10pm and 11pm on Saturday. A man, who was driving a dark coloured car, approached the victim who was walking countrywards along the Sydenham Bypass, between Dee Street and Belfast City Airport.
