Teenage girl raped in west Belfast

A teenage girl has been sexually assaulted in a forest park west Belfast, according to police.

The victim, a 13-year-old girl was raped by the man in the Woodside Forest Park area of Poleglass over a week ago, however the details have just been released by police.

A PSNI spokesperson said the attack took place around 10pm on Friday 27 April.

The man has been described as being in his 30s with short dark hair and wearing a black baseball cap, navy T-shirt and navy tracksuit bottoms.

A body has been recovered as part of the search for missing Co Fermanagh man Bernard Sanke. The body was discovered in Tollymore Forest Park on Thursday, 09 December. Mr Sanke was last seen in the forest park area on Sunday, 05 December. A post mortem is to be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Man Due In Court Charged With Kevin Conway Murder
A 27-year-old man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court today, Monday, 29 January, charged with the murder of Kevin Conway. The man was arrested in west Belfast on 09 January, by detectives investigating the murder. Police have said that as is usual procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
