Motorcyclist killed in road collision

A motorcyclist has died following a road traffic collision in County Down.

The accident occurred on the Comber Road in Hillsborough shortly after 3:30pm on Sunday and the victim has been named as 29-year-old Ben Clark from east Belfast.

Another motorcyclist was treated for shock, however he did not receive any injuries.

Meanwhile, a man has died following a crash at Nixon’s Corner in Londonderry on Friday.

He was named as Gavin McGinty, 29, from County Donegal.

21-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In Co Armagh Collision
A 21-year-old man has died in a road traffic collision near Gilford, Co Armagh. The man is understood to have died after his motorcycle collided with a tractor on the Ballymacanallen Road at around 1.25pm on Wednesday. An investigation has been launched and police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

Motorcyclist Dies In Co. Down Road Accident
A 24-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in Moneyslane, County Down. The road accident occurred on the Katesbridge Road on Sunday afternoon, close to Banbridge. The road has now reopened. The name of the man who died has not yet been released. Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
