Weather warning issued for Northern Ireland
More heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in Northern Ireland today, the Met Office has warned.
The freak weather which brought flash floods to many parts of the province is due again, with up to 20mm of rainfall possible in places within a short period of time.
More than seven inches of rain have fallen since 1 June, which is double the average rainfall.
Parts of Northern Ireland have already been affected by yesterday's flooding and Belfast International Airport is currently undergoing a cleaning up operation after water flooded the arrivals area.
Police have issued a warning to drivers to drive with caution on the roads in difficult conditions.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland on Saturday, 09 June. Slow-moving heavy thunderstorms are expected to develop on Saturday afternoon between 12am – 9pm, with potentially up to 20mm of rain to fall in less than an hour and 30 – 50mm possible in three hours.

Met Office Issues Yellow Weather Warning
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind across Northern Ireland. The alert has been put in place for Friday and Saturday. Severe winds with gusts of up to 45 to 55mph are expected in some areas and forecaster have warned of difficult driving conditions.

The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning across Northern Ireland following reports of a mini tornado near Hillsborough in County Down. Torrential downpours are likely to arrive in the next few hours with heavy, locally thundery showers.
