All-party talks on the agenda following ministerial meeting
Northern Ireland Secretary of State Paul Murphy and Irish Foreign Minister Brian Cowen are expected to announce details of fresh all-party talks next week following their first ever meeting in Dublin today.
Both ministers discussed their attempts to end the current political crisis and are to meet again next week, after which details of the all-party talks will be revealed.
The Northern Ireland Assembly was suspended on October 14 by the then Secretary of State Dr John Reid due to a crisis of confidence over alleged IRA spying activities within the NIO.
The meeting with Brian Cowen was Mr Murphy's first in his capacity as Northern Ireland Secretary of State. It also follows his recent round of talks with local political parties following his appointment as Secretary of State two weeks ago.
Mr Cowen, meanwhile, has met delegations from some of the Northern Ireland parties, including the SDLP.
The Irish Foreign minister is due to meet the Ulster Unionists and some of the smaller pro-Agreement parties in Belfast on Friday.

Police Investigating Man's Death Following Ballynahinch Collision
The PSNI have launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of an elderly man following a collision in Ballynahinch. It it understood that police were called at approximately 4.10pm on Monday 08 April, to reports of the "sudden death"of an elderly man at a quarry in the Newcastle Road area of Seaforde.

Woodburn Reservoir Closed Following 'Scrambler Damage'
Public access to Woodburn Reservoirs is to be restricted as "scrambler damage escalates", NI Water has announced. The utility firm said that further damage to the Woodburn Reservoirs, Carrickfergus, over the Easter holidays has resulted in the decision to close access to some of its sites.

PSNI ACC Issues Statement Following 'Really Busy Easter'
PSNI Assistant Chief Constable, Bobby Singleton, has commented on a "really busy Easter for the Police Service with close to 80 parades taking place across the country". ACC Singleton said that he wanted to put on record his thanks to event organisers and participants who worked with the force to keep people safe.

Appeal For Witnesses Following Incident In Dungannon
Dungannon PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was arrested on Monday, 1st April. Making the appeal, Sergeant Delaney said: "Officers on patrol in Moy just after 11pm saw an 18-year-old man lying across a vehicle parked in The Square, which had a damaged windscreen and wing mirror.
