Ecstasy Tablets Found Outside School

A bag containing about 500 ecstasy tablets has been found outside the gates of St Luke's Primary School in west Belfast.

The drugs, with a street value of approximately £2,000 and were pink in colour, were retrieved by a woman walking past the school in the Twinbrook area just after 2pm on Saturday.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police attended the scene after being contacted by a neighbourhood safety scheme.

"Approximately 500 pink tablets were recovered. Tests are to be carried out to determine the nature of the tablets."

Appeal For Information On North Belfast Off License Robbery

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.

Drugs Seized During Search In South Belfast
Police have seized drugs during a search in the Carryduff area of south Belfast on Tuesday, 13 June. A large amount of white powder, suspected to be a Class A drug, was discovered, as well as a liquid substance and orange powder, believed to be illegal drugs, were also found. The PSNI also seized fake tablets, scales, ampoules and rolls of labels.
