Five homes and a lorry damaged in fire

Five houses and a lorry have been damaged during a fire in Craigavon.

The blaze, which is thought to have been started maliciously, was noticed at around 10pm on Wednesday evening behind a derelict house in the Burnside area of the town.

The occupants of one home have now been moved to temporary accommodation following the fire.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time of the fire to contact them. (MB)

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
