Warm Welcome At Open House
Belfast is to come alive tonight and into the weekend as the Coors Light Open House Festival takes place.
Running until Sunday, 27th September, it is all happening around the city's arts & cultural flavoured Cathedral Quarter.
English singer-songwriter Beth Orton opens events tonight while more than 50 acts, including established international artists and local performers will also take to the various stages.
Music genres featured in this year's line-up include Americana, New-Folk, Irish Traditional, Bluegrass, Cajun and Punk-Blues.
Traditional music genius, Harry Bradley, (pictured) plays support with Michael Clarkson and Seamus O'Kane tomorrow night as the lead singer and pianist for the Hothouse Flowers, Liam O'Maonlai tops the bill at the Black Box.
Along with Donal O'Connor, Martin Meehand and Seamie O'Dowd, the passionate musician and singer will blast the venue with his own brand of trad music.
There are a number of free events too, including the ChilliFest Marquees, at the Custom House Square, offering free admission as part of Culture Night Belfast on Friday.
Free sessions are also scheduled over the entire period in McHugh's, the Duke of York and the John Hewitt as well as one on Sunday in the festival HQ, the Premier Inn Hotel.
A Sunday highlight will be the double Grammy award-winner Steve Earle who appears on the main stage at Custom House Square.
