Appeal Over Manchester Rape
Police have released an image of a man they wish to question in connection with the rape of a teenager in south Manchester. The incident happened at a house in Royal Oak Road, between 4am and 5am, on June 22. The woman had been at a gathering of family and friends earlier in the evening and it is understood that the attacker, who she had not met before, but was at the house drinking, made sexual advances towards her, but she refused him and went to bed. However, a few hours later, she was awakened by the offender who raped her. She managed to kick him off and he fled. Police have now released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. The attacker is described as being around 25 and 26-years-old, 5ft 7ins tall and of skinny build. He was wearing a black T-shirt and a rusty silver chain. The image can be viewed at: www.gmp.police.uk
