A man who stabbed a teenage girl in the face has been found guilty of attempted murder.
Christopher Parsons, 20, from Haywards Heath in west Sussex, stabbed the then 16-year-old in the face, and at least eight times in the neck, head, arms, back and chest.
The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been left with permanent scars.
Parsons was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced on 15th June.
Detective Inspector Dave McCullough said: "Throughout this investigation, and during the terrifying event itself, this young victim conducted herself in a way one can’t help but admire.
