Firefighters called to two separate incidents |
|
An overnight fire has damaged a house in Londonderry.
Firefighters were alerted to the house, which was seemingly used as a drinking den, at Barry Street, in the Strand Road area of the city at around 2am.
The house suffered severe smoke damage as a result of the blaze.
Elsewhere, a petrol station was damaged by fire in east Belfast.
Five Fire Brigade appliances were needed to tackle the blaze at the garage forecourt premises in Bridge End.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately.
