Gaelic Footballer Mark McGovern To Return To The Game

Fermanagh gaelic footballer Mark McGovern is to return to the game after what has been described as a "miracle" recovery from a severe brain injury he suffered in 2011.

The 25-year-old suffered an off-the-ball injury at a game in the United States, which left him in a coma.

The player is now set to return to co Fermanagh team, Belcoo, in the coming weeks, according to a report by the Belfast Telegraph.

Speaking to the newspaper, Mr McGovern said that he would start by playing "10, 15 minutes at a time".
