Prime Minister Announces Cabinet Reshuffle
The Prime Minister has announced a Cabinet reshuffle, which will see the Education Minister, Michael Gove, become the new chief whip.
Replacing Mr Gove will be Nicky Morgan, previously the Treasury Minister.
Other high profile changes include Foreign Secretary William Hague being moved to a "lower profile" role as Commons leader and Ken Clarke stepping down.
Others include:
• Philip Hammond – moved from Ministry of Defence to Foreign Secretary
• Liz Truss – promoted to Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
• Jeremy Wright – promoted to Attorney General
• Michael Fallon – promoted to Defence Secretary
• Stephen Crabb – promoted to Secretary of State for Wales
• Baroness Stowell – promoted to leader of the House of Lords
• Greg Clark – remaining Minister for the Constitution and Cities but now also Minister for Science and Universities
A full list of the cabinet reshuffle is to be published later today.

Release Of Bush Blair Memos Vetoed
The public disclosure of a number of secret memos between former Prime Minister Blair and ex US President Bush, sent during the run up to the Iraq invasion, has been blocked. The potentially politically volatile memos were determined to be made public as part of the ongoing Chilcot Inquiry into the war by the inquiry chairman, Sir John Chilcot.

Languages need to be better promoted, says Minister
Figures on the number of pupils taking foreign language GCSEs show that more needs to be done to promote these subjects at an earlier age, Schools Minister Stephen Twigg said today. The Minister also said he was keen to see more pupils studying Spanish. It is the second most spoken European international business language, behind English.

British Troop Withdrawal From Iraq 'Unlikely'
The Defence Secretary Des Browne is expected to tell the Commons that there are currently no plans to reduce the number of British troops in Iraq. Ambitious plans to decrease the number of soldiers from 4,100 may have been withdrawn, sparked by recent fighting in Basra, the BBC has reported.
