Public Inquiry To Be Held Into The Death Of Alexander Litvinenko
A public inquiry is to take place investigating the death of the Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko, the government has announced.
Mr Litvinenko, a former KGB officer, died after he was poisoned with radioactive polonium.
Home Secretary Theresa Villiers said the inquiry will investigate if the Russian state was responsible for his death.
Mr Litvinenko accused the Russian president of ordering his murder before he died.
UK Buyers Get A 'Raw Deal'
UK buyers could be getting a raw deal by paying more for tech products than US consumers, according to an investigation by Which?
The report compared the prices of identical tech products, excluding tax, in the UK and US and found UK consumers are paying more, with price differences of some items running into hundreds of pounds.
It found a Samsung TV was £402 more expensive in the UK compared to the US and an Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch laptop was £194 cheaper in the US.
Which? executive director, Richard Lloyd, said: "UK consumers are getting a raw deal by paying up to hundreds of pounds more for the same tech products on sale in the US. Manufacturers should play fair and explain why consumers are paying more for buying in the UK."
Images Release Of Suspected Bank Card Thieves
Images have been released of suspected thieves who stole a bank card and PIN number as it was delivered to a pensioner's Walsall home.
The crooks went on to withdraw hundreds of pounds from the 72-year-old's account before the card was blocked.
The thieves called at the woman's home in the Delves area of Walsall twice in a few days, each time opening the porch and taking mail shortly after the local postman had made his delivery.
During the second visit, on 19 April, the homeowner spotted a man and challenged him, but he claimed to be a delivery driver collecting a parcel incorrectly left at the address before driving off in a silver coloured car, believed to be an estate or possibly a Hyundai Matrix.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Brown's Stance Praised By Litvinenko Widow
The widow of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko has commended Prime Minister Gordon Brown for "standing firm" on his demand for the extradition of the main suspect in the assassination of the defector. Marina Litvinenko welcomed Mr Brown's continued "firm" calls for the extradition of Andrei Lugovoi, two years after Mr Litvinenko's poisoning.

Campaign launched in memory of Alexander Litvinenko
A campaign has been launched by the widow and friends of murdered former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko in his name. The Litvinenko Justice Foundation aims to put pressure on both the British and Russian governments to find those responsible for Mr Litvinenko's death.

A former Russian acting Prime Minister Yegor Gaidar is being treated in hospital following what may be some form of poisoning. Mr Gaidar, who was premiere for a time under the Boris Yeltsin regime, fell ill during a visit to Dublin last week and was treated at a Dublin hospital before being moved to Russia.
