£1bn Profit For NI's Top 100 Companies
The top 100 companies in Northern Ireland have surpassed combined profits of £1bn.
According to a report, put together by business information firm Dun & Bradstreet for the Ulster Business magazine, it is the first time profits have reached this level.
Over the past 12 months, latest accounts show that profits increased by 60% to reach just over £1.017bn. Turnover for the companies also rose to £21bn.
Moy Park, the poultry processor topped the list for the third consecutive year, the report said.
The survey is based on figures filed at Companies House.
