Convicted Robber Goes On Run From Open Prison

A 23-year-old convicted robber has gone on the run from HMP Standford Hill, the same open from which Michael 'Skull Cracker' Wheatley, absconded from.

Police were called to the prison, on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent at about 14:00 on Sunday, when it was noticed that Liam White was missing.

When last seen Mr White was wearing a dark green poncho-style coat and carrying a black shoulder bag.

The public are advised not to approach Mr White.

HMP Standford Hill was at the centre of a political row in May, after 55-year-old armed robber, Michael Wheatley, failed to return after day release.

He went on to rob a building society in Surrey.
