Teenager Attacked On Bus In Belfast
A teenager has been attacked on a bus in north Belfast.
Police have described the incident as a sectarian hate crime.
It is understood the victim, 16, was travelling to work when he was approached by four men on the bus in the Woodvale area on Thursday. They punched the teenager repeatedly, only stopping when another passenger intervened.
Chief Inspector Bobby Singleton said: "This was a disgusting attack on a young man who was doing nothing more than trying to get to his work.
"Police are treating this as a sectarian hate crime and will be carrying out a thorough investigation."
The incident happened on the 11A Metro bus which departed Ballysillan Park, travelling towards the Shankill Road at 8.50 on Thursday morning.
Any witnesses, or anyone who has information regarding the incident, is asked to contact police.

Two Arrested In Limavady Organised Crime Operation
Two arrests have been made during a search operation by the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch in Limavaday. Officers carried out a search of a house in the town earlier today, Tuesday 16th April. A number of items were seized including a quantity of suspected Class C controlled drugs and electronic devices.
