Interim Ulster Coach Les Kiss Set To Leave

Les Kiss has announced that he is to return to his full time duties as assistant coach of Ireland, leaving his post as interim Director of Rugby at Ulster.

Kiss took up the post in June following the departure of coach Mark Anscombe.

Ulster is expected to make an announcement on his replacement with the next two weeks.

Danske Bank Announce Closure Of Three Branches

Three more Danske Bank branches are to be closed in Kircubbin in Co Down, Lisnaskea in Co Fermanagh, and one in east Belfast.

It is understood that no jobs are to be effected by the closures, with the bank adding that there would be no further closures this year.

Reports Suggest NI21 Leader Under Investigation

The BBC has reported that MLA Basil McCrea is to be investigated by the assembly standards commissioner.

The report says that while the commissioner, Douglas Bain, is prohibited from confirming or denying the identity of those under investigation, it claims that "informed sources" has said that the investigation follows accusations that the NI21 leader's treatment of staff broke the Stormont code of conduct.

Appeal Following Theft Of Quad Bikes And Trailer In Magherafelt
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the theft of three quad bikes and a quad trailer in the Magherafelt area last week. On Tuesday 5th March police received reports that a Dark Green Suzuki King 750CC Quad and a Red 2022 4x4 quad had been taken from two neighbouring properties in the Quilly Road area of Moneymore.

Man Arrested In Connection With 1992 Police Officer Murder
A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.

PPS To Prosecute Former Soldier For Murder Of Patrick McVeigh In 1972
The Public Prosecution Service (PPS) has issued a decision to seek prosecutions against four former Military Reaction Force (MRF) soldiers in connection with six incidents over 50 years ago.
