Wembley To Host Euro 2020 Finals

Uefa has announced that the final and semi-finals of Euro 2020 will be played at Wembley Stadium.

The governing body also announced that tast sixteen matches will be hosted at Glasgow's Hampden Park and Dublin's Aviva Stadium.

Prior to Uefa making a ruling on who would host the final, the German FA withdrew, leaving the English Football Association unanimous winners of the bid.

Govt To Donate Hospital Beds To Sierra Leone

The government has announced that it will donate hundreds of hospital beds to Sierra Leone, as it continues to fight an increasing Ebola outbreak.

It is understood that of the 700 beds being donated, 200 are "in the pipeline" with the remaining 500 to follow in the coming months.

Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond also announced that British army engineers are to identify sites in Sierra Leone where treatment centres can be built.

University To Spend £150,000 On Graduation Chairs

Plymouth University is to spend £150,000 on seven chairs, according to a report by the BBC.

The chairs, to be used for graduation ceremonies, are to be made by furniture designer John Makepeace.

The BBC reports that it has seen an email from the university's PR department that warns of a negative effect news of the purchase could have.

House Prices Fall By 0.4% in April
The price of a typical house fell by 0.4% in April according to the latest figures by the Nationwide. April's decline leaves the average price of a house at £151,861, down 15% from a year ago.
