Cocaine Seized At Plymouth Port
Border Force officers have seized around 100kg of cocaine from a lorry in Plymouth.
It is understood that the drugs were found on a lorry carrying orange juice, which had arrived from Santander in Spain.
A 62-year-old man was arrested in connection with the find.
Airport In Kent Sold To Regeneration Specialists
Regeneration specialists have bought Manston Airport in Kent, with plans to develop the site for housing, schools and manufacturing.
The majority stake in the site has been bought by Trevor Cartner and Chris Musgrave for an undisclosed sum.
Mr Cartner and Mr Musgrave were part of the consortium behind Discovery Park in Sandwich.
It is understood that the men are planning a £1bn redevelopment over 20 years, and expect to create more than 4,000 jobs.
LCC Approve Anfield Redevelopment
The redevelopment plans for Anfield stadium have been approved by Liverpool City Council.
The council's planning committee approved the proposal, which will see capacity at the stadium increase from around 45,000 to about 59,000.
Alongside this, new conference and banqueting facilities will be added, as well as a new club shop and additional car parking.
Construction is expected to be completed in time for the 2016-17 season.

ONS Reveal Sales Boost In February
Retail sales in February rose 2.1% compared to January, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS). The ONS said the rise was thanks to sales in computers and technology, and goods bought online. With consumers spending a total of £6.3bn a week, sales were up 2.6% on February 2012.

Earls Court Redevelopment Plans Approved
The demolition of the Earls Court Exhibition Centre and two neighbouring estates has been approved by the Mayor. The demolition is part of a 77-acre redevelopment of Earls Court and West Kensington, which will see the creation of four "villages" alongside a "high street".

Dedicated ITV News Channel axed
ITV has announced that following a "strategic review" it is to invest £2 million in its news programming but the axe has fallen on its 24-hour rolling ITV News Channel. The company said that the decision came after a review of the network’s news services as part of an evaluation of the future requirements for ITV news up to 2010 and beyond.

Scottish Govt Approve Hydro-Electric Scheme
The construction of a new £800m hydro-electric scheme has been approved by the Scottish Government. The plan will see a 600MW plant at Coire Glas near Spean Bridge in Lochaber and will see the construction of a dam, reservoir, underground power station and water tunnels in the hills above Loch Lochy.
