Man Goes Missing From Hospital

A man has gone missing from Glangwili Hospital in Carmathen, Wales.

It is understood 72-year-old Ivor Evans left the hospital at around 7.45pm on Tuesday.

Mr Evans is described as a white male, in his 70s, with a goatee and tattoos on his arms. He was last seen wearing a white short sleeved shirt and dark trousers and had a white dressing on his head.

His family have said they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

In a statement, Sergeant Dominic Jones, Dyfed Powys Police, said: "Mr Evans is suffering from dementia and diabetes and may appear confused. We need to find him as soon as possible.

"There has been a confirmed sighting at 1am this morning in the Llanarthne area and I would appeal to residents in the area to check their sheds and outbuildings."

Anyone who has seen Mr Evans in the last 12 hours is asked to contact police immediately on 101.
