Cannibalism Murder Inquest Opens
An inquest has begun into the death of Cerys Yemm, who was killed in an "act of cannibalism".
Police found Ms Yemm being attacked by Matthew Williams at a hostel for recently released prisoners on 06 November. She died at the scene from injuries sustained in the attack. She was 26-years-old.
34-year-old Williams also died following the attack. Police used a Taser stun gun while making the arrest and it is understood that he later became "unresponsive" and despite police efforts to revive him, Mr Williams died.
An inquest into the circumstances surrounding the murder of Ms Yemm was opened at the civic centre in Newport and immediately adjourned until a later date to allow the criminal investigation to continue.

Pilot Who Fell Ill Dies after Passenger Safely Lands Plane
A passenger has been forced to make an emergency landing at Humberside Airport after the plane's pilot became ill. Police have confirmed the pilot later died, however they were unable to confirm the cause of death. His family has been informed. Two flight instructor talked to the passenger as he took control of the plane.

Teenager rescued from sea dies
A 15-year-old boy rescued from the sea off Norfolk has died. A lifeboat crew rescued the boy who had got into difficulties while swimming with another boy off Wells-Next-the-Sea, Norfolk. He was located by the lifeboat and was airlifted to hospital. But he later died shortly after being admitted to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Two British tourists have been killed after their private plane came down shortly after take-off from an exclusive holiday resort in northern Australia. The couple, who are believed to be in their 60s, died instantly when their Cessna 421 aircraft came down and exploded close to the El Questro wilderness park, where they had been staying.
