Security Review To Be Carried Out After PM Hoax Call
Downing Street has announced a security review is to be carried out after a hoax caller, claiming to be the head of GCHQ, was put through to the Prime Minister's mobile phone.
According to reports, a man claiming to be Robert Hannigan, director of the government monitoring agency, was put through from No. 10's switch board to the PM's Blackberry mobile phone.
Mr Cameron is understood to have terminated the call as soon as he realised it was not genuine.
Asked about the call during an event in Hampshire, Mr Cameron said that "these things happen" and "no harm had been done".
Downing Street and GCHQ have both announced that they will carry out a security review following the incident.

Union anger at health sector pay rises
Unions have reacted angrily to the government's announcement that pay for nurses and other healthcare professions has been pegged below inflation. Nurses and other health care professionals will get 2.5%, 1.5% in April and 1% in November. General dental practitioners will get 2% but there is nothing on offer for general medical practitioners.

Most People Believe Mobile Phone Use Affects Driving
Three quarters of people believe that drivers who use their mobile phones are needlessly risking their own, and other people's, safety, research published by the government has revealed. A YouGov poll carried out for the Department for Transport found that 60% of people said they felt 'annoyed' when they saw a motorist using a mobile phone.

Up To 300 Jobs Created By Mobile Phone Company
Mobile phone company EE has said it is to create some 300 jobs in south Wales and north east England. Up to 200 customer services and sales jobs will be created in the firms' Merthyr Tydfil call centre, with the remaining 100 jobs being in Darlington and North Tyneside.
